Aviator Suite collects the following types of data from users:

  • Personal Information: Full name, address, and email.
  • Flight Logs: Detailed records of flights.
  • Certificates: Information about user certificates, including name, number, and expiry date, if the user opts to store this data.

This data is used to:

  • Generate the digital logbook.
  • Calculate total flight time logged.
  • Warn users of impending certificate expirations or exceedances of flight time limitations.

2. Data Storage and Security

Data within Aviator Suite is stored locally on your device in the app container and synchronized with iCloud for accessibility across all devices using the same Apple ID. Apple’s default security structure isolates the application within its container, preventing interaction with other system functions and ensuring your data’s privacy and security. Apple’s privacy policies and protections are in effect.

3. Data Sharing and Access

All data stored within Aviator Suite is accessible only to the user. Users may export their data and actively distribute it when necessary, such as sharing flight logs. This is typically done by exporting the flights to a PDF logbook and sharing that PDF file.

4. User Control and Rights

Users can access, modify (in some cases), and delete their data within the app. To stop using the app and delete all related data permanently, users can delete the app from their device and remove it from their iCloud account.

5. Compliance

Aviator Suite complies with the EASA FCL.050 format for logging flights, ensuring that exported flight logs adhere to this standard.

6. Children’s Privacy

While Aviator Suite is available to users of all ages, the data stored in the app is not considered sensitive. The app does not specifically target children.

7. Changes to the Privacy Policy

If our privacy policy changes, users will be notified upon opening the app. Users must accept the new policy to continue using the app. If users do not accept the updated policy, they will be prompted to export their logged flights and will be prohibited from further use of the app until acceptance.
